The full checklist

Read the sequence before starting. Follow each step only when its preparation and branch conditions are met.

  1. With the dishwasher cool and safely isolated, inspect the upper and lower arms for grease, scale and blocked nozzle openings. Note whether a dish, handle or utensil crosses either rotation path.

  2. Remove loading obstructions and gently turn the arms by hand. A stiff arm must not be forced.

  3. If deposits require arm removal, follow page 40: unscrew the upper arm and pull off the lower arm. Stop if the mounting differs or resists normal removal.

  4. Rinse accessible deposits from the removed arms without enlarging nozzle holes or inserting sharp tools. For a separate dishwasher-cleaner cycle, remove all cookware and utensils and follow the product label.

  5. If the arms were removed, refit them to their original mounts. Confirm both arms are secure, return the upper rack fully to its rear water connection and check free rotation.

  6. Restore power only after reassembly. Check the next suitable wash for renewed residue; persistent poor spray or insecure fittings require service.

When to stop

  • Stop using the dishwasher for smoke, a burning smell, damaged wiring, an active leak or water near electrical equipment. Isolate power and water only from a safe, dry, accessible location; otherwise keep clear and request qualified help.
  • Do not remove the pump cover, reach into the pump, open electrical panels, bypass the door interlock or move the installed dishwasher. Refer plumbing connections, installation and repairs to qualified service.
  • Stop if a part is cracked, jammed, sharp, insecure or different from the matching manual. Do not force a fitting or touch hot water. Never mix cleaning products.
